Women BARCUR Design Polarized Sunglasses
What does UV400 protection mean for sunglasses?
'UV400' refers to UV rays at the top end of the UV spectrum, up to the 400-nanometre wavelength. Sunglasses with this level of protection block an even wider spectrum than the CE (European Conformity) and British Standard models, making them the ultimate protection for your eyes.
The wavelength of violet light is around 400 nanometers (or 4,000 Å).UV exposure increases the risk of potentially blinding eye diseases if eye protection is not used. Gradient lenses feature a gradual shift in tint from (generally) darker at the top to lighter at the bottom. Gradient lenses are generally more versatile, while polarized lenses may be too dark in some settings.
